How to get the TV

1. The doors open at 6:00 AM. Somewhere in the store is the last TV. It's in a different spot every game, in a store laid out differently every game. Don't assume it's in Electronics.
2. Walk into it to grab it. Carrying it slows you down and you can't sprint. Click to throw it: if it hits your rival they're knocked flat, and you can pick it up again and run.
3. Take it to an open checkout lane, at the front or the back of the store (lit number, green on your map). The cashier scans it, and that always finishes once it starts. Then whoever holds the TV at that register pays. Paying starts over if you're shoved. Take it to a different register and it has to be scanned again.
4. The store PA gives hints if nobody has found it: first the department, then the exact spot.
5. The crowd packs around the doorbusters (Furbys, Nintendo 64s…), and stampedes when the PA announces a restock. Go round, or through.
6. Grab a shopping cart (E): it ploughs through people, flattens your rival and carries the TV. After 15 seconds of pushing a wheel falls off.
7. Shoppers get into fistfights. Keep your distance, or catch a stray punch.
8. The power may go out. Find a flashlight before it does.

Controls

• WASD move · Shift sprint · E take or let go of a cart
• Space or click: shove. It knocks shoppers flat (some will get up and come after you for revenge: a red ! over their heads), and if it hits your rival they're knocked flat and drop the TV. (Carrying the TV, a click throws it instead.)
• Mouse to look (click the store first); ←/→ also turn. V switches between first and third person. Esc frees the mouse.
